The ladies of OHOV facilitate a blind women group where we discuss the relevant issues that plagues women overall and work on strategies to maintain our mental and physical wellbeing.
This meeting occurs every first Wednesday of the month at 7 PM via zoom.
The ladies of OHOV discuss the obstacles that plague individuals that went from living life sighted to adjusting to living as a blind/low vision individual. This is our only co-ed empowerment group.

The ladies of OHOV discuss the tools and techniques needed to reclaim our power that was stolen from us. As survivors of domestic violence or trauma.
This group meets every third Wednesday of the month, at 7 PM via zoom.
The ladies of OHOV facilitate the LIFE book club. This is the only book club where books are offered in a 100% accessible format for blind readers. All the authors are female.
If you are excited about broadening your scope of critical thinking, this book club meets every second and forth Sunday of the month at 7 PM via Zoom.
WE VOTE 4 US women engage in voter outreach to educate. This program focuses on the disability justice movement surrounding civic engagement. The ladies of OHOV offers a three tier program where we motivate blind/low vision women to get actively involved in voter registration.
WE VOTE 4 US motivates by providing drives, community outreach to underserved neighborhoods and educational workshops on knowing your rights as a disabled voter.
This financial literacy program teaches blind women the tools to obtain financial independence. We work on strategies to decrease your debt , raise your credit score and increase your cash flow.
This employment program focuses on the strategies that women need to attain employment. We work on advocacy, Resume writing, job readiness and employment resources.
With over 10 years of experience with Social Security policy and regulations. the ladies of OHOV help with understanding your Title II (SSD/SSR) benefits and title XVI(SSI) benefits. We pride ourselves on ensuring our consumers get the most out of their Social Security Administration benefits.
